Thank you for visiting the Illinois Medical District Commission (IMDC) website.  The IMDC has recently been the target of check fraud.  As a result of this fraudulent activity, the IMDC has received numerous inquiries regarding fraudulent checks purportedly issued in the name of the IMDC in connection with classified ads posted in regional newspapers offering tutoring services and various online shopping surveys.  Please be advised that the IMDC has absolutely no connection to this fraudulent activity.  We believe these fraudulent advertisements and communications, which do not relate to the IMDC in any manner, are part of an attempt to perpetrate fraud on unsuspecting members of the public.  To report incidents of fraud, please contact Special Agent James Andriakos of the Illinois State Police at James_Andriakos@isp.state.il.us.
