Isaac S. Goldman Brings Extensive Board Experience and Leadership Management
Chicago (May 4, 2012) – The Illinois Medical District Commission (IMDC) announced today that Isaac “Sandy” Goldman has been appointed by Mayor Rahm Emanuel to serve as a Commissioner for the IMDC. Goldman’s appointment became effective April 18, 2012.
“Sandy Goldman brings to the table a vast background in investment and finance,” said Jennifer Woodard, President, Illinois Medical District Commission. “He has also served as a leader in the community, working on various boards and charities throughout Chicago for decades.”
Goldman is principal of Front Barnett Associates LLC. His board experiences range from Vice-Chairman of the United Way of Metropolitan Chicago, Chairman, Mayor Daley’s Committee for a Clean Chicago, Commissioner for the Chicago Housing Authority and Board Member of the Metropolitan Pier and Exposition Authority. Goldman holds a J.D. from the University of Chicago and an MBA from the Wharton School of Finance and Commerce.

The 560-acre District is the nation’s largest urban Medical District and includes Rush University Medical Center, John H. Stroger Jr. Hospital of Cook County, University of Illinois Medical Center, Jesse Brown VA Medical Center, and 40 other healthcare institutions.
