| Located on 56 acres within the Illinois Medical District (IMD), the Chicago Technology Park (CTP) serves as vital ground for technology companies in early development as well as expansion facilities for those companies that are growing their operations.
Such companies include those in drug discovery and delivery, medical devices and testing, genomics, nanotechnology and others who collaborate with our premier medical facilities for research and design.
The mission of the CTP, to assist in the growth of companies, is accomplished by supplying fully equipped infrastructure, university resources, internship programs and custom designed business development services.
More than 150 people work for companies in the incubator and another 125 work for companies that have moved to other locations within the Park. The park has successfully graduated over 25 firms into the local economy. The average growth rate of the companies has been 200% in the past four years. Employment has increased from 80 to almost 300 over the past 5 years.
