District Security Group (DSG)

Coordinated by the IMD, the District Security Group is a collaboration of the law enforcement and security services operating within the Illinois Medical District. The DSG serves to enhance and maintain the safety of employees, residents, visitors and patients in the Illinois Medical District, enhance the perception of the District as a secure environment, and achieve and maintain preparedness to assist in response to emergency events. DSG members include the FBI, Illinois State Police, UIC Police, the Chicago Police Department, as well as other institutional law enforcement and security services.
