District Development Area
The District Development Area (DDA) is conveniently located within the IMD’s boundaries and is comprised of 42 acres of land available for development. This area is located immediately adjacent to mature health care and university campuses. Additionally, the District has 10 acres of land available for development, located steps from the four major hospitals — UIC, Rush, VA, and Stroger. Western/Ogden tax incremental financing and/or streamlined and expedited zoning and permitting may be available.
